Duality captures an early exploration of split perspectives—two faces rendered in contrasting temperatures that reflect the beginning of my chromatic vocabulary. The left figure is defined by warm, radiant color and crisp structure, while the right figure is cooler and more withdrawn, creating a subtle tension between presence and distance.

The saturated palette is intentionally maximal, pushing color into both highlight and shadow while testing how neon tones can shape form. The interlaced hands at the bottom introduce movement and gesture, marking an early stage in the compositional strategies that later became central to my portrait work.

While stylistically transitional, Duality represents a significant point in my progression: a shift from traditional realism toward the more engineered and psychologically charged chromatic portraiture that defines my subsequent work.
