Thermacare
In a private collection
Acrylic on canvas
Thermacare captures the raw intensity of a live performance, translating sound and movement into a chromatic heat map across the figure. Saturated reds, blues, and greens track the strain of the voice and the tension of the gesture, shaping the anatomy through the same heightened contrasts found under stage lighting.
Here, color operates as pure energy, mapping volume and motion rather than interior emotion. The black background isolates the figure like a spotlight, allowing the neon palette to carry the full force of the composition.
This work is part of a small concert series, exploring how my chromatic style shifts when applied to performance rather than introspection.
